Hives have their own unique Resource System. This system is incredibly important to every individual hive as it allows or prevents development and growth of the entire hive. Not only is this system one of the primary systems of a hive, it ties in heavily with supply lines and convoys when an Empress’ occurs resulting in its further expanse.
Hives utilise four forms of resources.
These resources are all incredibly important to a hive, and as a result when too low hives have specialised processes to establish stable levels of those resources.
