The working companion to The Residential Growth Playbook: Win the Homeowner Call, Then Earn the Next One. The playbook lays out the loop from the first call to the next referral. This board is where you build it, one box at a time.

How to use this board
Tick boxes as you go and the page becomes the record of what you actually did.
Read the playbook first if you have not. Have last month's job list open, sorted by lead source, because Part 1 asks for real numbers off it.

Fill these in before you tick a box. Every number comes off your job software, your phone system's call log, or your profit and loss statement (P&L). Memory does not count.

Put every residential lead from last month in exactly one row. A job with no recorded source goes in Unknown, and the size of that row is a finding on its own.

Know how much of the company rides on this. Page 14 of the 2025 RIA Cost of Doing Business Report from the Restoration Industry Association (RIA), based on fiscal year 2024 data, puts the residential share of the mix at 73 percent for companies between $1.1M and $5M. The report is a free download behind a short sign-up form. Chapter 1 of the 2026 C&R / KnowHow State of the Industry Report (2025 data, page 8) puts the share of firms doing 75% or more residential work at a record 67% in 2025, up from about 60% in 2024. Divide your residential revenue by your total revenue and write your own share here: percent. The Concentration Risk Playbook covers what a high share costs you.
