Step 1: Start a new shelter pet profile

There are two ways to manually add a pet to your shelter account:

1. From the header, select + Add Pet, then choose Add Pet in Shelter. See How do I register or report a pet? for more details.
2. Open the Dashboard (also called My Pets). If your account is linked to a shelter or rescue organization, select Pets in Shelter from the left-hand menu, then choose + Pet in Shelter.

Note: Your Findpet account must be linked to an approved shelter or rescue organization. See How do I link my account to my shelter's Findpet profile? for instructions.

Step 2: Enter the pet's information

Complete the pet profile form as accurately as possible. Include the microchip number, identification details, contact information, and current photos when available.

Click Submit button
