What Define Answered

Discover produced seven research insights and the realization that the product had to serve two mental models โ€” Protected and Power โ€” in one adaptive interface. Define turned that material into something the design could be built against:

The output is the design brief that Ideate and Design build from โ€” and the same brief the live widget answers to.

The Problem Statement

People sending money across borders act as their own FX analysts โ€” making timing decisions on rates they can't evaluate, through apps that move money but never help them move it well. They suspect they lose value to bad timing, but have no trustworthy way to act on it, and they will not hand that decision to automation they can't see or stop. AI could close the gap โ€” but only if it recommends rather than decides, explains rather than asserts, keeps the crypto rails invisible, and leaves the sender as the one who says yes.
