Turn three gates into two-week deliverables
Your Revenue Growth Band Worksheet names three gates, three owners and three dates. This board breaks each gate into work small enough to finish in two weeks.
A RocketLevel template for owners and their leadership team. Print this page or save it as a PDF, or copy the table into your own spreadsheet, then clear the example rows.
How to use it
- Start from the worksheet. Fill in Your Revenue Growth Band Worksheet first. Each gate on it becomes one or more rows here.
- Write each row as a finished thing. "Job costing on every job" is a goal. "Job cost report run on the last 20 closed jobs" is a deliverable.
- One owner per row. Two names on a row means nobody owns it.
- Define done as evidence. Something a person could look at and check: a report, a signed document, a posted schedule.
- Keep Current short. If more rows sit in Current than your team can finish in two weeks, move the extras to Next.
- Review it at the weekly meeting. Blocked rows come up first, and each one leaves the meeting with a name and a date. The Weekly Leadership Operating Rhythm covers the meeting.
What the columns mean:
- Band. The band this work gets you ready for, not the band you are in today.
- Workstream. The part of the company the work lives in.
- Impact. What moves when it is done: Safety, Revenue, Margin, Cash, Capacity or Customer.
- Source page. The GEM page that explains how to do it, so the owner is not starting from a blank page.
The board
Three example rows show how much detail to aim for. Replace them with your own, and add a board view grouped by Sprint or Status if your team prefers cards to rows.
