Reflection is a third-person, single-player 3D puzzle game in which the player must solve riddles scattered throughout a school. Inside this school are mirrors that act as portals to a fantastical dimension in the form of levels, each containing clues and solutions necessary for progression. Each level represents the player's psychological evolution.
These unique levels immerse the player in a supernatural world, a parallel reality governed by mysterious laws. By passing through the mirrors, the player shifts from the normal dimension to an imaginary one.
In these reflections, the player embodies a rabbit — merely a manifestation of the protagonist’s psyche. This rabbit must remain discreet in an environment populated by enemies that function similarly to antibodies; if they catch us, the player respawn to the last checkpoint. Going into the levels that are in the mirrors is essential for collecting key information needed to solve the puzzles.
Our main objective is to encourage exploration of this imaginary dimension, to lead the player to uncover clues and draw connections between the puzzles of both worlds. When faced with an obstacle in reality, the player should be able to think: “Ah, what I saw in that level allows me to solve this puzzle!”
