About Dr. Manfred Neugebauer

Dr.-Ing. Manfred Neugebauer is a German architectural historian, building researcher, museologist and author. Between 1982 and 1992 he founded and directed the Upper Palatinate Open-Air Museum Neusath-Perschen as its founding director. During this period he developed an independent scientific museum concept based on the interpretation of the open-air museum as a reconstructed cultural landscape.
