Airevent uses roles to coordinate people to carry out specific tasks within an event or in a Workspace. Each role has its own set of responsibilities.

The roles in the Builder are different than the roles in the Viewer. However, all roles are created in the Builder and it’s in the Builder where people are invited to participate in a role.

Builder vs. Viewer

Airevent has two interfaces: the Builder and the Viewer.

The **Builder** is where events are created, organized, and paid for. It is the planner-facing side of the platform. Roles in the Builder are for the people working behind the scenes to set up an event.

The **Viewer** is where events are presented and experienced live. ****It is the participant-facing side of the platform. Roles in the Viewer are for the people who run the event, present during the event, or participate in the event.
