There is a lot on these shelves. This page gets you to the one you need in under a minute.

A RocketLevel orientation guide for anyone opening the hub for the first time. About a 5-minute read.

What this hub is, and who it is for

The GEM Resource Hub is a free library on running a restoration company, written by RocketLevel Commercial. GEM stands for Goals, Execution, Mindset. There is no signup, no gate, and nothing behind a paywall. It covers the whole business, from labor burden and safety programs to collections and exit planning, but the deepest shelves are commercial, because commercial revenue is the kind you own instead of rent from a carrier program.

It is written for every size of shop, from the one-truck startup to the multi-location platform, and for every seat in it: the owner, the estimator, the customer service representative (CSR), the salesperson, the office manager. The money, people, field and operations shelves stand on their own, whether or not you ever bid a commercial job.

The four ways in

New here? Make your first click Where Do I Start? Find Your Next Move in 60 Seconds. It routes you into one of the four doors below.

By size. The home page opens with five Growth Bands, from launch to $1M up to $20M and beyond. Pick the one that sounds like your week and it tells you what has to be true before the next band, the pages to open first and the worksheet to fill in this week: Band 1 (Launch to $1M) Β· Band 2 ($1M to $5M) Β· Band 3 ($5M to $10M) Β· Band 4 ($10M to $20M) Β· Band 5 ($20M and up).

By problem. The home page also lists the problems owners feel most: the phone is not ringing, you are busy but not profitable, you are not getting paid what the job is worth, you cannot keep good people. Each one links to the page that addresses it directly. Where Do I Start? Find Your Next Move in 60 Seconds goes one level deeper. If you know what hurts, start there.

By role. Every page carries a Role tag, and the tags name the hats people wear. A three-person shop has an owner who also wears the Office & Money and Commercial Sales & BD hats. Pick the hat you are wearing today from the home page role list and you get only the pages built for that seat. Start by Your Role gives each seat its first five pages, in order.

By chapter. The Commercial Growth Guide on the home page lays the commercial path out in eight chapters, in order. Read it front to back if you are building commercial from scratch. Jump to a chapter if you already know where you are stuck. The Commercial Growth Playbook is the whole path in one long read.

Bands, Chapters, Stages, and Levels: how they fit

Four frameworks show up across the hub, and each one answers a different question.
